The creative process linked to the learning process via a mindtool

I would like to consider what links there may be between creativity and the learning process. I feel that developing a mindtool could be appropriate, in that I propose modeling both processes and then comparing them.

A key area of interest will be developing an analysis of paradigm shifts and how they may be different from conceptual change.

Both types of experience can be shown to have specific sequences and consequences. Creativity may yield innovation if the task is successfully completed. Learning may yield knowledge. The fact that these structures replace an existing order is the common ground that justifies comparison.

This study should be relevant for teachers in that innovation and knowledge are the among the intended benefits to society of an educational system.
